Scarlet Letter
When I wore the scarlet letter at school, I receivedvarious reactions from my fellow peers. Some would simply approach me and ask what it meant. However, there were also those who would look at me withdisregard and perhaps think, “What is wrong with him?” In my period A class, which was Advanced Placement U.S. History II, the reaction was very neutral sincemost of the students in the class was wearing a letter as well. Therefore, we just shared what our letters represented. During my chemistry honors class, period B, barely anyone commented on the letter. In fact, the only person who I talked to about it was Leticia by exchanging what our letters represented. For the rest of the day, it was basically all the same with the exception of one moment when someone looked at me with discontent, probably thinking that Ijust wanted attention. Ultimately, the reactions I got from the students within the LBHS community were reasonably neutral, with only a few exceptions.
