School Bullies vs. Dictators
One never takes much consideration into how a school bully and a dictator can have many similarities but atthe same time be so different. The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services say that a school bully is someone who makes threats, spreads rumors, attacks someone physically or verbally, and excludessomeone from a group on purpose. There are three types of bullying; verbal bullying, social bullying, and physical bullying. Now, the dictionary clearly states that a dictator is a person grantedabsolute emergency power; one holding complete autocratic control; one ruling absolutely and often oppressively. A dictator and a school bully both enjoy taking away someone’s happiness and their freedom.One way they are both alike is because of their personalities. Both a bully and a dictator can be very aggressive with their actions. They both go against what is really supposed to be done. Aschool bully and a dictator feel like they are the ones in charge and want things to go exactly their way. They begin to make their own rules and expect everyone else to follow them. They like to be veryarrogant and begin to believe that their rules are the only rules that one is supposed to abide by, causing them to forget what the actual rules are. A school bully can con his way out of anysituation that he’s in and avoid any mishap with the principal. A dictator also cons his way out of conflicts with the government so he can stay out of trouble. However, neither can a dictator nor a bully doall of this by themselves. School bullies usually have a group of friends whom he controls as well, but they help him bully other students in the school. Dictators have many advisers who help himcontrol a country. The dictator’s helpers help the dictator figure out what his next plan of action should be. Without the bully or the dictator’s helpers, they wouldn’t be as strong as they claim to...
