Seven Worders Of Ancient Egipt
In this essay I am going to give you information and a little description of each of the wonders, there are 7 Wonders:The Pyramids of Giza, The Statue of Zeus, The Temple of Artemis, The Mausoleum, The Colossus of Rhodes, The Hanging Gardens of Babylon and The Lighthouse of Alexandra.
ThePyramids of Giza:
It was built in Egypt on 2560 BC, They were 3 greatest pyramids, and it was the tallest building on earth and also the longer stone structure.
TheStatue of Zeus:
This Statue was built in Olympia on 432 BC circus, IT took about 5 Years to build the statue, this statue was 7 times bigger than a man, and a huge eco cameout of the statue of Zeus, because it was full of rats and insects and it was destroyed by fire.
The Temple of Artemis:
The temple was located on Ephesus around 323 BC, itwas made mostly of marble and it was sack on 262 AD circus
The Mausoleum:
This building it was built around 350 BC on Halicamassus, it was 43m high and it was mostly madeof white marble and it was destroyed in 1552 AD by an Earthquake.
The Colossus of Rhodes:
It is Located in the Island of Rhodes (Modern Greece) between 292-280 BC, Itsfunction it was to Commemorate War Victory, it was destroyed on 226 BC by an Earthquake.
The Hanging Gardens:
The hanging Gardens were built on Babylon on 600 BC and it wasdestroyed by an Earthquake in the 2nd Century BC, its function it was for the Royal Gardens.
The Lighthouse of Alexandra:
It was built around 290-270 BC on Alexandra, Egypt, the function is to guide ships to Alexandra´s Harbor, it was made of stone faced with white marble blocks is was 140m. Long, it was destroyed in 1303 AD by an Earthquake.
