King's Ransom is a story about a kidnapping that has little to do with the child or the crime, but a lot to do with the men involved and the decisions they make.
Douglas King is a successfulbusinessman, but when his chauffeur's son is kidnapped by accident instead of his son, and the kidnappers demand the ransom, King has to choose between his future or the life of an employee's son. If he paysthe ransom, it could ruin the greatest business deal of his life. If he doesn't pay it, the boy could die and King could end up with a murder on their hands.
