I am writing to inform you why working in a small company is good, because employees in small businesses are the most satisfied at work and most committed and loyal to their organizations. They alsohave the freedom to choose their working patterns making the bullying, lower stress levels and less complaints about long working hours at a low rate. When you choose to work for a smallerorganization, you stand a greater chance of being noticed. Small companies are the ones that have a total workforce of five hundred or less. These companies are generally fast-paced and it is a lot easier toexcel, provided you have the talent required to reach the top. If you lack specialization in a particular field, but have the ability to learn new skills and handle variety of projects, you can easilyget a good job in smaller organizations. In fact, by being involved in multiple projects, you gain more experience and become more competent. Also promotion prospects and job satisfaction are oftenhigher with small companies. Smaller firms tend to be more supportive, less bureaucratic and more willing to hire workers embarking on new careers. If you are the kind of person who has ideas and can comeup with new ways of doing things, it is much more likely that a small company will listen to you and take your ideas on board. At a large company, just finding out who to suggest ideas to can be ahassle, let alone scheduling a meeting to talk about them. Top level companies offer perks that smaller companies just can't hope to compete with, such as cars, equipment and company sponsored MBAs, butmuch of this is just face value. A talented individual can often progress to the top much faster in a small organization, and consequently take home a much higher pay cheque than those at largerfirms within a few years.
