Pronombres relativos.
- Who y that → Para referirnos a las personas.
Ej. You´re the person who gets the highest marks.
- Which y that → Para referirnos a las cosas.Ej. This is the TV which I bought the las week.
- When → Para referirnos al tiempo.
Ej. There are times when I´m really happy.
- Where → Para referirnos a espacios y lugares.Ej. You need to find a room where you can study properly.
- Whose → Para referirnos a la pertenencia.
Ej. There isn´t anyone in the class whose marks are worse than mine.Who´s y whose.
- Who´s → Contraccion de who is o who are.
Ej. He is the person who´s very intelligent.
- Whose → Pronombre relativo de pertenencia.
Ej. He is the person whosehorse is black.

Defining relative clauses.
Proporcionan información esencial acerca del nombre al que acompañan. Sin ella la frase quedaría incompleta.
Ej. She´s the teacher who gaveinteresting lessons.
Ej. Maths is the subject which gives me most problems.

Non-Defining relative clauses.
Proporcionan información no esencial del nombre al que acompañan y se colocanentre comas. Sin ella la frase tendría sentido.
Ej. Walter, who is 81 years old, has just passed an A level in Spanish.
Ej. His teachers at Lancaster School, where he took the exam,are delighted.

TEMA 2.

Modal verbs: Características.
- Casi todos van seguidos de un infinitivo sin to (excepto ought to).
Ej. I must look for my Passport.
- La tercera persona nolleva s.
Ej. He can speak English.
- No se utiliza do/does en la forma negativa e interrogativa.
Ej. She shouldn´t work so hard.
Ej. Can you drive?

Modals of advice,necessity, obligation and prohibition.
- Must, have to, need
Must y have to para expresar obligación.
Needn´t y don´t have to cuando no hay obligación.
Need to para expresar necesidad....
