Stephen William Hawking

He was born on 8 January 1942. His parents Dr. Frank hawking, a research biologist and Isobel hawking a political Activist.
In1965 he married Jane Wilde, a languagestudent they had three children: Robert (1967), Lucy (1969) and thimothy (1979). Then married Eleine Mason his nurse in 1995. And in octuber 2006 hawking got divorced from his seconf wife.
Hawking wasalways interested in science. He enrolled at university college with the intent of studing mathematics, but his father would have prefered he went into medicine and since mathematics wasn’t offered atuniversity college then He instead chose physics. His interests during this time were in thermodinamics, relativity and quantum mechanics. In 1962 he stayed studying astronomy but he decided to leaveOxford for Trinity hall, Cambridge. Where he engaged in the study of theoretical astronomy and cosmology.
Hawking’s principal fields of research are theoretical cosmology and quantum gravity.
In1970, to hawking proving the first of many singularity teoremas.
In 1979, he calculeted that black holes should themally create an emit subatomic particles.Know today as Hawking radiation.
Thediagnosis of motor neuron disease came when Hawking was 21, shortly before his first marriage, and doctors said he would not survive more than two or three years. Hawking gradually lost the use of hisarms, legs, and voice, and is now almost completely paralysed.
He has since used an electronic voice synthesizer to communicate. The DECtalk DTC01 voice synthesizer he uses. Hawking's setup uses apredictive text entry system, which requires only the first few characters in order to auto-complete the Word.
Hawking has appeared as himself on many television shows:
