A week /day, etcNow, at the moment, at present ,today,

Next week /year, etc.
*State Verbs
The following verbs are not normally used in progressivetenses. They are called stative verbs.
They are called stative verbs.
●Verbs of the senses: feel, see, hear, smell, taste, notice, and seem, look (=believe), etc.
●Verbs of emotions and preferences:love, hate, like, dislike, want, need, prefer, mind, etc.
●Verbs of perception and opinion : think (=believe), believe , know , understands , remember , forget , hope , mean , imagine , etc.
●Otherverbs: be, have (=posses), own, belong, cost, etc.
*Past Simple
We use the Past Simple:
●for actions that started and were completed at a specific time I the past .

●for habitual or repeated actions in the past .

●for completed actions that happened one after the other in thepast.
