These machines canstore huge amounts of information and process them fast and accurately. What they lack is an ability to learn and make "clever decisions" as human do.
•A.l. keeps us safe. Police officers use robots todefuse bombs quickly and safely. In the future, officers will use A.l. to help them patrol the streets and identify criminals.
•Some people own robot vacuums and pool cleaners that copy the waypeople clean. If you can afford to buy one of these expensive machines, you will not spend long hours on chores!
•A.l. machines build cars and test them to make sure they are safe for people to drive.These machines can do work humans can't do easily, such as lifting heavy car parts.
•Scientists send specially designed ROVs, which are deep-sea robotic vehicles, underwater to explore the sea bed.Robots are able to work underwater for longer than human divers.
Right now we use A.l. to help us with many different jobs. Will the machines be able to think on their own? This is one of thebiggest challenges of modern-day computing.
