There is clearly an appeal to alcohol, every day, on average, 11,318 American youth, which consists of 12 year old to 20 year old people, try alcohol for the very first time, compared with 6,488 formarijuana; 2,786 for cocaine; and 386 for heroin. Convinced by their friends, in the middle of a party or sometimes influenced by alcoholic parents. Alcohol is mostly seen as a way of rebellion, teensknow they are breaking the rules when they drink and it´s something they find intriguing. Most teens who prefer not to break the rules are teased by their friends who make them feel that to be partof the group they have to drink and be like everyone else, even if they don´t want to. Now, put yourself in the place of one teenager, who does not want to be excluded by the people who surround him,what would you do? Maybe you would choose to stay loyal to your beliefs and do not let anyone make your decisions, but what would the subject in case do? A teenager who thinks that being part of agroup is a priority and who does not care If his dignity is on jeopardize as long as he gets the much desired social equality.
Alcohol has been always seen as a dangerous way of entertainment,bringing not only a good time and the approval of those who surround you, but bringing also many negative repercussions to your life, both to yourself and the people around you. It has been known for a longtime, how many problems it can bring you and although it is immensely damaging to adults, it can bring even bigger problems to teenagers. Those problems consist not only of a bad hangover and the needof some coffee, but something bigger like many negative effects on the bodies of young people. Once you have already consumed a certain amount of alcohol, there is no amount of coffee, cold baths,showers or walking that will protect your organism from the upcoming damages.
