BOOK REPORT
DIARY

Wimpy Kid

Introduction.
In this “Book Report” i chose the book “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, this book is very famous because it gets a lot of sells. It told about the daily activity and the trouble of a Greg.
The book was published in April 2007.
The book also has a movie was released in March 19, 2010, the protagonist was ZacharyGordon, his role of Greg Heffley, Robert Capron as Rowley Jefferson, Rachael Harris as Susan Heffley, Steve Zahn as Frank Heffley Owen Fielding as Manny Heffley.
The Saga have six books, book 1: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, book 2: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules”, book 3: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw”, book 4: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days”, book 5: “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The UglyTruth”.
The autor is Jeff Kinney, he was born in 1971 in Maryland. In 1998, he started to think ideas about “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”
At the begining of the book i thought that in the end of the book Greg and Rowley would become popular and in that period Greg and Rowley get a fight, and then all get a solucion and they back to be friends again.(typical)
*BODY
This book is about a boy,“Greg Heffley” who is telling his daily day at the school, at his home and he tell about his firends too.
*INTERPRETATION
This book maybe not give you a clear or a specific message but if you are very carefuly you can see that the book give you how can you “survive” to your daily life or how can you learn about your life and about your mistakes, you can learn to that in your life will be a lot ofobstacles and you have to know how can you surpass it.
*THESIS
Greg Heffley is a eleven years old boy, his mother bougth him a diary but of course, he didn´t want the therm “diary” he preferred to say the word “journal”.
Also he made it clear that he will not say dear diary or stuff like that.
Greg got a brother he is older than him, his name is Rodrick, Rodrick was like the rude guy ofthe house and he allways tried to made Greg in a trouble.
Also, Greg got his parents but they just pay attention to the youngest sun,Manny, he always have all the atention.
The Greg´s dad not mention on the book but he wanted a boy who “follow in his footsteps”, But Rodrick was so diferent to his dad,so the plan B was Greg, and when Greg told his dad something that his dad did when he wasyoung he tried to take advantage for it.
The Greg´s mom is a little overprotective, she always watched what Greg is doing, she want to Greg don´t ruin his life and telling what is better for him.
In the first days of classes he met Rowley Jefferson, in the beginig Greg didn´t like Rowley very well, but they start playing and Greg went to the Rowley's home frecuently. Both of them enjoyed a lotthe videogames, but Rowley's parents were much overprotective, when Greg went at his home with a new viedogame Rowley´s dad check the vidogames on the internet, and if the videogame got violence or not apropiate content he didn´t let them play.So the only videogame that Rowley played was a Formula One but Rowley just enjoyed the videogame because you can crate your car´s name and he put it aridicolus name, and when somebody pass the Rowley´s car the game say the car´s name.
Rowley is the type of guy who is not too smart and the people get advantage of him, he don´t put mucha antetion when the people talk to him.
The book trough several holidays like Halloween and Christmas too.
In Halloween Greg and Rowley had an idea to make a haunted house but their phaunted house wasn´t verywell as their plan(very low material) but them make an effort.
On Christmas almost all the gifts under the Christmas tree were for Manny, The youngest brother. Greg wanted a viedogame, his father gave him a weight equipement because before Christmas, Greg told his father tha he wanted to be strong and Greg practiced whith two bottle of milk and juce full of sand with a tube on the middle, So...
