The book of “ Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules” present how kids in middle schools there world is and how sometimes are being bully from people.“Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior in which someone intentionally and repeatedly causes another person injury or discomfort. Bullying can take the form of physical contact, words or more subtleactions.”But no only kids are victms of these people everyone also adults. The characters who are bully in the books: Mom Greg, and Rodrick. The victims of bully are : Dad, Rowely even Greg . Gregis a bully and also a victm from Rodrick.
Physical, verbal, indirect, social alienation, intimidation and cyber are different forms of bullying there exist. It show in the book these ways of bullyinguse the characters: physical, verbal, social alienation , and intimidation. Nobody how are victimize of these treat do anything to stop it. Greg , is the principle character, victme of bullying ofhis big brother (Rodrick) became sometimes a bully in school and with his best friend. He use one of the psychological defense mechanisms that is displacement. “ Displacement is expressing feelingsthat would be threatening if directed at the real target onto a less threatening substitute target.”
Greg is a victim of the bullying of his brother. Rodrick as a big brother for the order of birth itgive him like a right to boss of his little brother. The forms of bullying use his big brother are: physical, verbal, and intimidation. Example in physical is when Greg was little Rodrick has kickhim in the but when was playing. Verbal bullying example was when his big brother found Greg writing a diary and told him “sissy”.
The most way that use Rodrick to manipulate Greg is intimidation,inthis book. First time Rodrick intimidation when he did a wild party when his parents where gone. He told to Greg have to help clean the house because going to tell his big secret. The second time...
