The Lord who is a servant

Hello, my name is Charles Lancelot and this is a typical day in my life. First of all, I must present myself. I was born in Merseyside, England in 1105. I live in thetown of Liverpool, which is in the northwest of England. I am 33 years old, 6.13 feet tall, green eyes and bronze hair. My skin is sun-tanned and, although I eat a lot, my job keeps me in shape. My family is the typical ‘powerful’ family, I come from the nobility. My dad, Scott Charles Lancelot, was the Duke of England, so he was the vassal of the King Henry I. He died defending the King, when I was only 15 years old. My mom died recently because of a disease. In 1121, I married my lovely wife, Juliet Winston, and we have 3 children: Charles Philippe Lancelot Winston (14 years old),John Scott Lancelot Winston (12 years old) and Mary Juliet Anne Lancelot Winston (7 years old).

Well, I have just told you I was part of the nobility. I am the Duke of England and the Feudal Lordof Liverpool, so I am King Stephen of England’s vassal too. My main activities are divided in two: inside my Manor and serving to the King. So, this is the schedule of a common day for me: at 7:30a.m., I wake up and dress. At 8:00 a.m., I have breakfast (milk, juice, bread, fruit and some soft meat) and go into the farms to oversee them. More or less, at 10:00 a.m., I go into the castle by hansomto wait for my tasks. Between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., I train soldiers, go searching for weapons or clothes or appear in King Stephen of England’s court (it varies depending on the King’s needs). After my tasks are finished, I return home (about 3:00 p.m.) and have a banquet (meat, vegetables, fish, legumes, fruits, bread and wine) with all my family. At 6:00 p.m., I sit in his castle and listento every villain needs, which is quite interesting to me because I like to improve my Manor, considering the people’s opinion. Finally, at 8:30 p.m. I spend time with my family and/or friends....
