The president of the Society, Dr. Rafael Schiffino, says thatin recentmonths has been an increase in inquiries from endocrinologists, pediatricians and public hospitals, of infants who are carried by their mothers with problems related to overweight and obesity.He says the situation is causing more children with hypertension, heart disease, diabetes, high cholesterol and triglycerides and other health ailments that adults traditionally suffered.
Addto fast food, the inertia of the children with too much time on household consumption of foods high in sugar, fat and carbohydrates have become the main enemy health of children.
