choosing which carrer to pursue is one of the most important decisions we will ever make. What should be taken into consideration?
Chosing the career that you want to studyit’s the “real deal” because when you grow up that’s what your work its going to be about. Taking a bad descicion of which career you are going to choose takes a bad part in your life because you aregoing to be working and then you are not going to be happy with your self and with your job. Choosing a career its one of the most important descicions you can take in your life, if not the mostimportant. You should take in consideraton what do you like to do and where and why, and if you are happy doing that.
Life is really simple, you could study just one subject, get a jobdoing that, and live happily ever after but most people change the direction of their career many times, and part of this is a process of discovering what they actually like to do.
When you decidewhat to study, you might be tempted to pick subjects you think will be in demand when you finish. However, it might be four or five years before you finish school and university, and by thattime, market demand might have changed.
The best thing to study is what you enjoy. And the same is true of what you end up working at.
If you can find the study area that maximises whichevertype of work you enjoy best, you will see that it leads you into certain career paths. The more you enjoy what you are doing, the more successful you will be at it.
Talk to people about whattheir work actually involves, and get a sense of what you will enjoy. Its really good to have options open.
Well at the end of the road you have the descicion of what to study or what to do butyoull have to take a really smart choice in this time of your life if you don’t want to regret it later in 20 years when the possibilities of you doing something about it are almost nules.
