PREFACE
This is a group assignment report for the course LIKU-2436 Transport in InternationalContext. For the report, the group has familiriased itself with a totally new subject area. Most of the information used writing the report was gathered from the internet sources. As we discovered during this work, the most updated and current information is not published as free resources. The subscription prices for different up-to-date databases were rather high and therefore out of reach for thisreport. All the same, the group has used the best data available. Every member of the group has learnt a lot during the work. During the work, many new aspects came up and interesting details were discovered. The large scale of the transport sector in China-Europe trade is impossible to cover fully in a short assignment and, needless to say, even more challenging it is to comprehend. What's more, thework has evoked an interest to continue following the subject area as well in future.
