Primary Health Care: Using essential oils (PHC)

Introduction
Since 1978 PHC, launched the strategy (WHO) health for all in 2000. Three decades later we have a new stage; the damage of the environment, disasters are not natural, new challenges in global conditions, so it new discoveriesand new technologies to work on heath.
Inside this renovation, prelevance to investigate and deepening the appropriate solutions for each historical, cultural and social.
Is the case of renewed use of medicinal plants, with investigation in the last 40 years. There is information available the scientifically proven effects of medicinal plants for our area of investigation is segmented into thearomatic, inside them the species significant state of development in biochemical research.
We start with the use of active principle, which are substance products of cellular metabolism of plant tissues, animals, fungi, yeasts and some algae. In plant species are substance derived from photosynthesis that takes places in chloroplast. And then transformed into carbon compound, which recombinewith other substance such a mineral salts, phosphorus, nitrogen, etc.
Aromatic plants transform the solar energy (energy photo- electromagnetic) essential oils (bio chemical energy electromagnetic) thought the process of photosynthesis.
The essential oils are carbon chains (c-c-c-c) - (c-c-c-c-c) that are more complex molecules called terpenes.
Terpenes molecules are almost exclusive of plantspecies however there Basidiomycetes as sequiterpene lactone producers; Ascomycetes producing volatiles molecules such as sequiterpene, monoterpene synthesizer by bacteria and insects that produce pheromones.
