I am here today, to talk about an issue that concern to all of us. To denounce the irrationality of a prohibition. A law
that condemns women of ourcountry to appeal to illegal resources. Resources that in some cases may cause them
irreparable injuries, or even, death: the prohibition of abortion.More than five hundred thousand of abortions take place un Argentina every year, because of the unsanitary
conditions more than one woman per day die. Isthis necessary? Are we going to turn the blind eye? Are we
going to pretend that the problem is not our until it is our turn to live it? Is it moreconvinient to deny or
ignore the reality rather to fight against the causes of unwanted pregnancies?
