> A towered airport has an operating control tower.

> A non-towered airport does not have an operating control tower.

b. How can you differentiate them on a sectional map?

>Towered airports are any blue airports on the navigational charts.

c. Are you required to communicate on radio at an uncontrolled airport?

> It’s no necessary communicate on radio at an uncontrolledairport

d. Name an airport that may be in UNCONTROLLED AIRSPACE but REQUIRES you to communicate by radio

> The number 9 and 27 on a runway indicates the runway orientation , the number nine means thatthe runways is possibly oriented in a heading of 090° magnetic and the runway number 27 possible is oriented in a heading of 270° magnetic.
