Causes and the effects of the Industrial Revolution

Have you ever asked yourself where the phone comes from, or where the cars come from? They do not only appear as if it were magic. These andmany other inventions are part of one of the most important stages in history, which is called “The Industrial Revolution”. It could be described as one of the biggest and most dramatic transformationsin all history, which refers to the reform of the production and transportation of goods. It started changing many aspects of life, including economics, politics and society, which changed the way ofliving in many countries, starting in Europe and expanding to North America and Japan. The Industrial Revolution happened because of several events, and it was a good change, but it had its negativeand positive consequences.
The Industrial Revolution had its roots in the Early Modern Europe with the generation of new ways of thought in older stages. The other countries helped Europe to havethe economic access for investment and production for the world market (Lockard, 2011). One of the most important causes of the Industrial Revolution was that the number of people starts growing andthat makes the growth of demand in many human needs, if there are more people, they have to produce more products. The competition between markets started and the export market was open, it was aboutwho have the best price, or the best product (The industrial revolution, 2012).
We have to examine the most negative effect of the Industrial Revolution. The people made more machinery, so thefactories needed less hand labor; many people were fired because of the industries. If the factories had machinery to do the work for free, why would they have to pay people for their work? The worst thingwas that the factory owners abused their workers, who had low salaries, worked more than 16 hours, and had children working since they were five years old. Women and men were working in the factory...
