Introduction
Now a day we can see that the participation of women in the market is much greater, this tells us that the opportunities for men and women appear to be equal such as: job opportunities,promotion possibilities, also for high levels of management but still with not considering the refrain of same level of work same pay.
Companies still consider that women have a serious ofdisadvantages in performance towards work abilities, because it is consider by nature that she will be a mother and she will have to share her time between her job activities and being a mom.
Body
Genderdiscrimination implies a network system of believes, attitudes, values, forms of behavior and the ways of seeing the world sense being born, through family and general through society and that itsdifferent for men and women. Now gender discrimination can be observe in daily violence towards women, job discrimination, and the lack of access to positions of high levels of management, education, andprivate property.
The term “sex” refers to the biological differences between men and women, for example the physical differences, while the term “gender” refers to the functions and the rights defineby society. In Mexico exists a high level of discrimination, 85% of private companies and government make gender distinctions to grant a job, while only 15% ignore this requirement – Javier VazquezRobles. “No labor discrimination for gender or age”.
Also there are not only distinctions when hiring women but also when employed, these women receive minimum salary compare to men salary eventhough there in the same department and perform the same activities.
Conclusion
Through this job we realize that there exists a high level of discrimination towards women and it’s up to us that we makethem recognize our rights and so they can identify that we have the same opportunities as men and some statistics have shown that women have surpass this.
It’s up to us that this changes in society...
