Tag Questions
These are a declarative grammatical structure in where a declaration or an imperative, transform into a question after adding aninterrogative fragment.
The tag questions are good to confirm information or to check some fact.
* If the sentence is positive you will have to use a negative tag. For example:
Alan is a student.
Thecorresponding negative tag is: isn’t he?
* If the sentence is negative, you’re going to have to use the opposite, in sentences like:
You aren´t sure about the answer. Then the tag is:
are you?Below the text, there are several examples, remember that the verb that goes in each tag question is given for itself:
Maria y Susana are healthy........aren`t they?
Mario was sickyesterday..........wasn't he?
Also, keep in mind tag questions with do / does and don't/doesn't with did/didn't. The examples that are given here, are tag questions with verb to be.

Here there are other examples:
*You won’t open the window, will you?
* She doesn't really want that, does she?
* You'd better stop now, hadn't you?
* So you thought it would be a good idea to reprogram the computer, did you?
*It's quite an achievement, isn't it, to win a Nobel Prize!
* Oh I must, must I?
* I just adore Beethoven, don't you?
* I'm coming with you, all right?
* You've been there, right?
* Easier saidthan done, eh?
* You went there, no?
There are tag questions with auxiliary verbs, with negation and other types.
-You were eating pizza yesterday, weren’t you?
-She wasn't studying for her exam, WasShe?

-He was an employee at a restaurant when He lived in St. Francisco, Wasn't He?
-You weren't fat when you married her, were you?

-He bought the Video game He saw last week, Didn't He?-They didn't go to the beach this morning, Did They?


*You are thinking about her, Aren't You?
*She isn't in the office, Is She?

*They play videogames all the day, Don't They?
*We don't arrive...
