RESUMEN BULLYING. FACTORES DE RIESGO Y CONSECUENCIAS CLINICAS
Esta es una revisión bibliográfica extensa de literatura nacional e internacional acerca del fenómeno del bullying. Se analiza la definición y descripción del problema desde una mirada amplia y sistémica, considerandolos factores relacionados con la aparición y mantenimiento de este fenómeno. Se identifica el perfil de los distintos actores involucrados en la dinámica bullying: agresores, víctimas, y testigos, describiendo sus características psicológicas, familiares y consecuencias para los niños y adolescentes involucrados, principalmente los problemas psicológicos y psiquiátricos relacionados. Se analizanlos factores de riesgo, los factores de la psiquis individual y grupal así como los fenómenos sociales y familiares que afectan a la población infanto adolescente y propician la aparición del Bullying. Se concluye que el bullying se ha establecido como un problema grave y complejo de salud mental infanto adolescente, que debe ser analizado como una forma de estrés grave o trauma que tieneconsecuencias psíquicas importantes tanto para víctimas como agresores. Bullying es una forma nueva de violencia social, tiene severas consecuencias en la salud mental, debe ser reconocido y evaluado en su real dimensión por los múltiples actores involucrados en su abordaje considerando el contexto amplio en que se presenta y con miras a implementar estrategias de intervención apropiadas al niño oadolescente, al contexto familiar y socio-cultural teniendo en cuenta la información científica disponible.

BULLYING. RISK FACTORS AND CLINICAL OUTCOMES
This is an extensive literature review of national and international literature about the phenomenon of bullying. The definition anddescription of the problem are analyzed from a comprehensive and systemic view, considering the factors associated with the appearance and maintenance of this phenomenon. The profile of the various actors involved in the dynamics of bullying are also identified here: perpetrators, victims and witnesses, describing their psychological familiar and psychopathological characteristics and consequences forchildren and adolescents, mainly the psychological and psychiatric related problems. It discusses the risk factors, the individual and group psychological factors as well as family and social phenomena that affect the infant-teenager population and facilitate the Bullying to emerge. We conclude that bullying has become a serious and complex infant-teenager mental health problem, which must be analyzedas a serious and traumatic form of stress having serious consequences for victims and aggressors. Bullying is a new form of social violence that has severe consequences for growing process of our young people and must be recognized and evaluated in its real dimension for the multiple social actors involved in its intervention considering the broad context in which they are involved, in order toimplement intervention strategies appropriate to the child or adolescent, the family and socio – cultural context and in the light of available scientific information.
