Trip to London 24 – 30 March 2012

Diary

Day 1

We woke up very early today. We went to the airport by car separated. When we reached Barcelona we were very happy because the plane was taking us to England in two hours. We met with the group at the airport. We had to wait a lot because the groups were big, so it was difficult for the teachers to control us.
We leftBarcelona and we arrived there after midday. In Heathrow we met with the other groups. After that we got a bus and we went to Camden Market. There we had a lot of free time, so we visited nice shops and we bought some clothes for us. Afterwards we met with the groups and then we went to Hemmel Hempstead by bus. When we arrived there the we started to shout and laugh as crazy boys because we were verynervous. All the families were waiting there. Then we got into a room and we sat on the chairs waiting for our families. Eventually, David shouted Marti and Xavier!, and our family was ‘’los Leon de Rios.’’ At first it was difficult to talking English but finally we could speak clear. We arrived home two minutes later because the home was next to the place we met. When we arrived we had dinnerwith the family and we talked about them. After the dinner we watched a very good film called Capitan America. It took two hours, so we were very tired and then we went to bed.

Day 2

We woke up, and we were very tired but we could have a shower. Amador (the father) prepared us a good breakfast because he says that the breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So we ate An Englishtypical breakfast. It was delicious, but we got full. After that our mum accompanied us to the meeting point. We went to Cambridge by bus and when we arrived on groups we took a tour, and a guide showed us the most important things of Cambridge. We saw The Mathematical Bridge, and we got in a fabulous College. After our visit the teachers gave us time for visiting the city and for answering thequestions of the ‘’dossier. We had lunch there near an old pub called the Eagle. After that we went shopping so we could buy some souvenirs for our families or clothes for us. We left Cambridge at the afternoon so we arrived home late. While we were tidying our room Amador was cooking the dinner so after that we went to had dinner. Today we did not watch a film because we had to help Michelle (thedaughter) with his Castellano homework. Then we went to sleep

Day 3

We got up very early as the day before, and then we had breakfast. Today the breakfast was not the English typical breakfast, we only drunk a cup of milk and we ate some toasts. We met at the meeting point. Today we were going to London this is why we were very excited. We went to London by bus and there we visited some niceplaces like the Westminster abbey ang we got into the British museum. There we could see some famous sculptures of our antecessors. We saw ‘’la pedra rosseta’’ and it was amazing! The Rosetta stone is like the stone that obelix carries called the menir, but it is not a Menir. There in London we went to the Buckingham palace too. It’s amazing what people can do with his hands, this building is totallyamazing! At the afternoon we went to Covent Garden, there the teachers gave us free time for shopping. Then the bus picked us up and we went home. We were very tired but we had enough energies for watching the Madrid’s match. Unfortunately they won. Then we went to sleep very sad because cristiano ronaldo scored a goal. (


Day 4:

In the morning we woke up and we had the breakfast with ourfamily. As everyday we met at the meeting point and the bus picked us up. Today we went to Wembley stadium. There we took a tour. A guide showed us the stadium, the conference rooms, the stadium,..etc. It was amazing, because the Wembley stadium is one o the most popular stadiums on Europe. It has the capacity of almost 90000 people supporting their teams! After Wembley we went to Hyde Park and...
