Dark Romanticism; The Dark Side of The Human Psyche is a topic in which we will decode the deepest side of the human mind, the situations that make us take some kind of decisions, andthe way the human mind reacts according to the situation a person is passing through .
We think that this research is necessary because we take decisions every single day, and this topic can help usto be aware of the kind of person we are, and how our decisions define us.
The fiction focused on the darkness of the human soul and accepted that there was sin and evil in the world. Darkromanticism conveyed many of the mechanics of the romantic authors in terms of writing style. We are going to talk about Edgar Allan Poe, and the way he used to write his stories. It was with abundance oreven an overdose of adjectives.
Statement
Dark romanticism is a literary subgenre that emerged from the transcendental philosophical movement popular in nineteenth-century America.
The term darkromanticism comes from both the pessimistic nature of the subgenre's literature and the influence it derives from the earlier Romantic literary movement.
Dark Romanticism's birth, however, was amid-nineteenth-century reaction to the American Transcendental movement. Transcendentalism originated in New England among intellectuals like Ralph Waldo Emerson, Henry David Thoreau, and Margaret Fullerand found wide popularity from 1836 through the late 1840s.
Many consider Edgar Allan Poe to be the seminal dark romantic author. Many of his works are generally considered part of the genre becausePoe strongly disliked Transcendentalism.
Purpose
We chose this topic, because it embraces all of these illogical elements such as: the grotesque, the gloomy, and the morbid that involves Edgar AllanPoe stories.
