INTRODUCTION


The name of Carabobo, has several possible origins. One of them refers to a plant that abounded in the area, either by an Indian tribe that populated the area and using the name of Carabobo to designate any plant species. Whatever the origin of the name of Carabobo state, the important thing is what has meaning for the history of Venezuela and his outstanding sitial as one ofthe most important economic entities for the country.

Filled with a great culture, cultural heritage, an important economy, remains a potential petrochemical producer, with excellent natural resources, etc.. It also has a historic significance in the origin of the Venezuelan race.

OVERVIEW HISTORY

Carabobo was one of seven provinces that formed part of creation as Republic of Venezuela.
