Activity analysis
Answer the following questions about your CAL activity BEFORE you start.
What is your activity? The activity of this CAL is grammar.
What is your goal? My goal is to learn how to use connector in sentences
What material will you use? (http://www.udlap.mx/cal )
I got it from the CALwebsite, from the CAL activity menu.
Now that you finished, reflect again on your activity. Answer the following questions:
PROCESS
Summarize- I started by reading all the rules and the explanations about the connectors and the types of connectors. I also read about the translation and the examples to get some understanding so that I could answer the questions. I reread the rules andexplanations to make sure that I understood them.
I read the activity then began to answer the questions. Some of the questions I did not know the answer to so I had to go back and read the rules again. After I was finished with all of the questions I checked the answer key. Because I took my time when I answered the questions I did better than I thought I was going to do. But I think that Ineed more practice because connectors are hard for me. I knew all of the words so I did not have to spend time looking in a dictionary.
RESULTS
Did you achieve your goals? This activity was difficult for me because it was the first one, but I believe that I did well with the activities and the questions. It makes more sense when I read it but when I have to write it by myself it is difficultfor me. It was tough but I think that I understand it better now.
Summarize- This activity was about connectors. Some examples of connectors are also, moreover, besides, such as, wherein, and wherefore. Connectors are used to combine subordinate clauses. I learn about when and how connectors are used.
