Secondary Vs Higher Education In Spain

The differences between secondary and higher education have been a topic extensively debated in recent years in Spain. The research has tended to focus on the negativeaspect of the preparation on secondary education, rather than on the similarities between them.
Then, the purpose of this paper is to provide not only the differences between secondary and higuereducation, but also the similarities between them.
We have organised the rest of this paper in different parts structured in the following way: In the first part, we are going to explain the similaritiesbetween secondary and higher education in Spain; in the second part, we are going to give differences between them; and lastly, we are going to provide you with a general view of everything that hasbeen said, for you to get your own conclusions.

Firstly, we have to say that there are some similarities between secondary and higher education in Spain, with respect to the number of hours inclass (some days it is more or less the same) and regarding the use of multimedia resources,...
However, secondly, the number of differences is higher, the more important ones are:
the way oforganising the study, in secondary education, students have everything done, they have a book plenty of theory with examples and teachers provide them with exercises and explainations. In higher education, incontrast, students have to look for basic and complementary bibliography, and they have to prepare their “notes” for study;
other difference is the relationship between teacher and student, insecondary schools the teacher knows every student in the class, but in hisgher education it is impossible because usually there are more than 80 people in the same class;
