ABSTRACT
Psychoneuroimmunology is a new piece of science that just brings three decades, but in recent years has been subjected to anenormous attention by various research groups. This article aims to explain briefly how they were organized immune and neuroendocrine systems, and then present the findings to date attempting to explain the relationship between the nervous system, as well as the influences of some over others, in particular to express the relationship among the three systems responsible for the defense of the bodyand, more broadly, its homeostatic maintenance. When it comes to threats, the central nervous system has to decide what system is put in place, the system of stress as energy for the attack or the fight (an animal that wants to attack us), the immune system to neutralize antigen ( viruses that we want to attack) or both (energy is also necessary for the immune system). As it appeared that manytimes depression appears after fruitless efforts for the launch of coping strategies, we also briefly reviewed some investigations that relate to the immune system with depression, as well as sleep disorders. It ends with the contributions psychology can offer therapeutic level. Key words: Psychoneuroimmunology, nervous system, immune system, neuroendocrine system, depression, sleep, psychotherapy

RESUMEN
La psiconeuroinmunología es una nueva parcela de la ciencia que apenas lleva tres décadas, pero que en los últimos años ha sido objeto de una enorme atención por diversos grupos deinvestigación. El articulo pretende exponer brevemente cómo están organizados los sistemas inmune y neuroendocrino, para después presentar los hallazgos que hasta el momento intentan dar explicación de las relaciones entre ambos con el sistema nervioso, así como las influencias de unos sobre otros, más concretamente expresar la relación entre los tres sistemas responsables de la defensa del organismoy, más ampliamente, de su mantenimiento homeostático. Cuando se trata de amenazas, el sistema nervioso central tiene que decidir qué sistema se pone en marcha, el sistema de estrés como energía para el ataque o la huida (un animal que nos quiere atacar), el sistema inmune para neutralizar el antígeno (un virus que nos quiere atacar) o ambos (la energía es necesaria también para el sistema...
