Generally a plant is a supplier and a customer is a demand.But in a supply chain they might play the role of a supplier and a demand at the same time. A warehouse plays the role ofa demand because it gets products from plants but it is also a supplier becauseit delivers products to customers so as you can see truth of the matter is that everybody can be a supplier so much such as a demander and viceversa.
