STAGE OBJECTIVES. in the second cycle ,first course:
• Identifying, posing and solving questions and problems related to daily experiences, using different sources of information, available knowledges and resources, as well as, the colaboration of other people in order to solve them in a creative way.
• Establishing balanced, empathetic andconstructive relationships in everyday social situations.
• Developing individual initiative and group-work routines.
• Acquire in Foreign Language the necessary comunicative competence to comunicate in everyday situations.
• Developing enterpreneurial spirit, promoting self-confidence actitudes, critical sense, creativity and individual initiative.
• Knowing andconsidering Nature and the environment, keeping a favourable behaviour to care it.
AREA OBJECTIVES.
• Developing interest in order to learn a Foreign Language.
• Understanding oral messages and answer them in everyday situations.
• Using verbal and non-verbal procedures in order to comunicate in determined situations.
• Reading andunderstanding short and simple texts related to class activities, the students´own experiences and interests and their knowledge of the world, in order to obtain general and specific information.
• Establishing relations between the meaning, pronunciation and spelling of words or sentences, recognizing the sounds and the commonest rhythm and intonation of the Foreign Language.
•Adoptiom of an understanding and respectful attitude towards the target language, as well as towards its users and its culture.
• Transfering previous knowledge and experience acquired through the use of their mother tongue to the learning of the Foreign Language, contributing to the progressive development of the self learning processes.
DIDACTIC OBJECTIVES.
• To be ableto introduce themselves and greet people.
• To recognize and use classroom language: Hello!, point to..., show me..., colour..., stand up, sit down.
• To learn vocabulary: days of the week, food.
• To recognize the structure: On + day of the week.
• To develop cooperative learning.
• To know the evolution of caterpillars.CONTENTS
1) Oral and written communication:
a) Concepts:
- Vocabulary related to days of the week , food and rooms.
- Revision of numbers in English.
- Identify classroom language: Hello!, point to..., show me..., colour..., stand up, sit down.
- Recognize structure: On + day of the week.
b) Procedures:
- Listening andreading a tale.
- Identifying oral and written words and objects.
- Drawing pictures.
- Making projects.
- Singing a song.
- Asks and answers to instructions.
c) Attitudes:
- Possitive attitude to English learning.
- Respectful attitude to peers´ work.
- Respectful attitude to animals.- Participation in class activities in an active way and cooperation with the rest of the class.
- Recycle of materials.
- Care for materials and the classroom.
2. Socio-cultural aspects:
a) Concepts: knowledge of an English chant.
b) Procedures: Identification of words in the chant.
c) Attitudes: Respectful attitude towards Englishchants and partners´ideas.
