MARTIN LUTHER KING. Prueba final.

Martin Luther King Jr. Was born the 15th of January of 1929 in Atlanta and died the 4th of April of 1968 in Memphis. He was the son of a Baptist Clergyman calledMartin Luther King. He devoted his life trying to help others and above all, trying to improve the civil rights in America for Afro-American people. He graduated himself in 1948 in College and in 1954in Boston University. He got married with Coretta Scott in 1953. They had four children that stayed together until M.L.K. died and despite the fact that he wanted to be a minister he became aclergyman in his old’s dad church in 1954. However, his real passion was defended civil rights in American and in the Vietnam War. He also faced the poverty during his campaign.
He based his campaignsimilar to Mahatma Gandhi’s pacific campaign. He wanted a campaign that was pacific, without violence, getting the rights by acts. One of its major achievements or issues in his history was the busboycott in 1955. In 1955 he was the leader of MIA (Montgomery Improvement Association) and of the South America Pacific Union Countries.

The main issue in his life was the fight for Civil Right’s. Thisall started around the 50’s when there was a re-birth in the importance of rights due to social discrimination and segregation. In 1955 he leaded the bus boycott thanks to Rosa parks to get civilrights for black community. After that he had won the public opinion and he was confident and sure that they were able to win, to reach, to get the same rights as white people, because as he said, “ Iknow we will get our rights, but we won’t get them without effort”. So he started making a huge and strong campaign, organizing marches and everything needed to get their rights.

In 1960 he startedhis proper campaign and he was jailed for it. However, he got out of prision early and in March, 1963 he orginised one of the biggests march ever. 250000 people went to the march. During that march ,...
