5S Visual Workplace - Overview
SORT means clearly distinguishing between(1) what is needed and to be kept and (2) what is unneeded and to be discarded. SET-IN-ORDER means organizing the way needed things are kept so that anyone can find and use them easily. SHINE means sweeping floors and keeping things in order.
