ACTORES QUE INCIDEN EN LA CREACIÓN DE BORN GLOBAL EN COLOMBIA1,2

Resumen
This research paper examines the factors and conditions that affect the expansion of Born Global firms in Colombia and how they can be assured of success in this national market. The author uses a model ofcausal relationships, AMOS 16 Software, and data from the survey conducted by GEM Colombia about companies that reported exports during the first years following their establishment. This study reveals that the following factors are associated with "Born Global" companies: market or environmental conditions, founder's profile, and internal company issues. Emphasis is drawn to this last item as akey factor in the creation and consolidation of these international companies. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]

|El artículo investiga los factores y condiciones que inciden en la constitución de firmas que nacen internacionalizadas en Colombia|
|(Born Global) y que pueden asegurarles el éxito dentro del mercado. Para ello se emplea un modelo de relacionescausales utilizando|
|el software AMOS 16 y los datos de la encuesta GEM Colombia relacionados con las empresas que reportaron procesos de exportación en|
|sus primeros años de creación. El estudio encuentra que los factores relacionados con las Born Global son: las condiciones del |
