Buenos días compañeros, el día de ayer platicamos con la Mtra. Mélida Valdés del Departamento de Turismo, ella está a cargo del área de idiomas, y nos comentó que está la posibilidad para quien lo desee de aplicar el exámen de lecto comprensión este viernes aquí en CUCEA, el costo del mismo es de $150 pesos y quien esté interesado póngase en contacto con el Mtro. Álvaro Ibarra en la extensión5498.
La Mtra. Mélida nos está pidiendo una lista de 100 palabras relacionadas con nuestra área de estudio y la correspondiente definición de obtenida en diccionarios de buen nivel, la lista deberá ser entregada escrita a mano.

Application: (short for application program) A software program that performs specific tasks such as word processing or database management, as opposed to systems software whichperforms tasks related to computer operations, such as DOS.
Application Service Provider (ASP): An organization that hosts software applications on its own servers within its own facilities. Customers access the application via private lines or the Internet. Also called a "commercial service provider." In e-learning, this organization is known as an LSP, or Learning Service Provider.Architecture: The design and structure of computer components.
Assessment: Essentially a measurement process of learning to determine what is already known (pre-assessment) or what has been learned (post-assessment).

Certification: Program and process where a learner completes prescribed training and passes an assessmentwith a minimum acceptable score. Though e-learning's roots are based in CBT, the best e-learning providers have gone beyond this traditional, CD-ROM, text-based "e-reading" approach to include live, instructor-led training, interactive multimedia presentations, and hands-on lab simulations to make learning more engagingand effective.
Content: The information that is being learned or delivered to the student. KnowledgeNet's content comes directly from technology industry leaders like Cisco, Microsoft and CompTIA.
Courseware: The media that contains the instructional content of the course.
