The modern Olympic Games were created by Pierre de Coubertin, the main driver of Physical Education in France, who wanted to get sporting ideals of classical Greece.
The First Modern Olympics Games held in 1896 in Athens, Greece.
The first Olympic flame was lit in the games held in Amsterdam in 1928, transferred by relay runners.
OnMarch 8, 1999 was presented to the public the design of the Olympic torch to Sydney 2000. The rings of the Olympic symbol represent the five continents intertwined
