Last summer my brother and my mother wanted to go to Asturias, but my father and I wanted to go to Cantabria. Finally we went to Cantabria for one week, and no one of us regretted it.
We wanted tosee something different from what we usually see in Barcelona, and we didn’t go to Santander, the capital, we went to a very quite village and we stayed in a little lodging house.
The landscape isincredible; you can see a mountain and the sea at the same time. When you go on the roads by car, on your right you can see a green field and cows grazing and on your left you can see the same, this isreally beautiful and relaxing.
We visited some different villages and cities, all of them are very beautiful. We went to Picos de Europa too, it was fantastic.
The food is really delicious and themost typical dish is: cocido montañes (mountain stew), it’s made with: pork belly slices, beans, spicy sausage, bacon… When you choose this dish at the restaurant, you can’t eat it all.
The weatherin Cantabria was great. It rained one day, the other days were sunny and warm.
