Venezuela is now considered an emerging country with an economy based primarily on the extraction and refining of oil and other minerals,and agricultural and industrial activities. He is also recognized as one of the 19 most biologically diverse countries in the world, combining a rugged arid, jungle, savanna of the lowlands and Andeanenvironments.

Its northern coastline of roughly 2,800 kilometres (1,700 mil) includes numerous islands in the Caribbean Sea, and in the north east borders the northern Atlantic Ocean. Caribbeanislands such as Trinidad and Tobago, Grenada, Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba and the Leeward Antilles lie near the Venezuelan coast.

The consequence of the general circulation of the atmosphere, fromDecember to April most of the country is affected by the northeast trade wind zone, which causes strong temperature inversions at altitudes of 1500-2000 investments trade winds. Puerto Cabello is a city of Venezuela,near which is the most important seaport and better value for money of the country due to its large business of importing raw materials for the Venezuelan industrial sector.
