DEFINITION OF WOOD
Wood is a hard, fibrous tissue found in many trees. It has been used for hundreds of thousands of years for both fuel and as a constructionmaterial.

CATEGORIES OF WOOD
The two main categories of Wood are:
* Hardwood
Usually from deciduous trees, which lose their leaves in autumn, althoughsome hardwood (for example, tropical hardwood) comes from other types of tree.
