1. What does curriculum mean? What are the elements and the purpose of the curriculum planning? What is the Triguero’s point of view about curriculum?
Curriculum means to organize the educational task according to a specific program; effective teaching must be presented as an intelligent activity, methodic and pointed to specific goals.
Every plan must include these elements:objectives, contents, skills, activities, methodological strategies, didactic resources and evaluation.
The curriculum intents to achieve two purposes:
To joint the education and the essential actions to be accomplished into a single unit for attending the requirements of the development of a country or a community.
To set the conditions that ensure a permanent process of innovation andimprovement of a set of factors that guarantee the efficiency of the educational system.
In Triguero’s point of view, only when the curricular planning is made attending to scientific and technical principles, it may contribute and benefit the teaching task and consequently the education as a whole.

2. What is the Non-linear model of the lesson planning? Explain.
In a non-linearplanning model any of the various elements of a lesson plan may act as the starting point for planning; besides non-linear planning models allow greater flexibility.
3. According to Scrivener (1994), what are the three kinds of planning?
They are:
• Formal Planning
• Informal Planning
• Long-term Planning
4. Write the possible elements of a lesson planningtaken from Brown, Cole and Chan (1987)
They are:
• Goals and objectives
• Procedures
• Language Content

5. What is the difference between formal and informal lesson planning? What are the main elements of the lesson planning? Give your comments about each element.
The difference isthat an informal lesson plan should be a shorter practical version of the formal lesson plan which a teacher can use to guide his/her lesson.
They are:
Activities: it is vital to consider what students will be doing
Skills: we need to make a decision about which language skills we wish our students to develop.
Language: we need to decide what language to introduce and have thestudents learn, research or use.
Content: we have to select content which have a good chance of provoking interest and participation.
6. How can a teacher make an informal plan clear and easy to use?
Teachers must choose only the most important practical information on it.
7. What is a long –term planning? Explain.
They are plans planned for longs periods of time in thefuture
8. Why is it necessary to state course objectives when designing a plan?
It is necessary because they can guide the teacher in judging the amount of time to be allocated to individual units and lessons, allowing the teacher to cover all the content rushing or without finishing the courser halfway through the term.
9. What are the four types of lessons? Give an explanation of eachone.
They are:
Observation lessons: They are highly important in all the fields and levels of study. The best way to acquire knowledge is throughout observation. It is necessary that observation be present in all teaching situations.
Informative lessons: This lesson’s purpose is to inform the student what it is difficult for them to know through direct or indirect observation....
