GENERAL
The Service Bulletin and Service Letter Index is split by publication type (i.e., SB or SL) and then arranged by aircraft model number (i.e. - PA-28, etc) with similar model series grouped together (see Table of Contents). Within these series, applicable service bulletins/letters are listed in numericalorder. To locate a specific bulletin or letter, select the appropriate service publication type (i.e., SB or SL) and then locate the affected aircraft series grouping. Bulletins/letters which apply are listed therein and are identified by Subject, Model(s) Affected, and the Issue Date of the Service Bulletin/Letter. Additionally, the index may list part or kit numbers and related A.D. numbers. TheAir Transport Association Code (ATA Spec. 100 / iSpec 2200) is provided to assist in maintenance record keeping and researching publications.

NOTES
1. Airworthiness Directives referred to by number in the A.D. No. column and A.D. numbers listed in individual service bulletins / service letters are those which applied at the time of publication. Refer to the latest FAA Biweekly listing forcurrent A.D. information. A searchable database of AD’s is available on the FAA website. See the “Airworthiness Directives” link at “www1.faa.gov”. Additionally, Avantext offers a free email notification service for new AD’s as well as the last six (6) weeks worth of AD’s at “www.avantext.com”. When ** appears in the Part/Kit No. column, material requirements are too extensive to be listed in theindex; refer to the appropriate service bulletin/letter for material identification. When Part/Kit No. and/or A.D. No. column is left blank or indicates “N/A,” no material and/or Airworthiness Directive is involved. Airworthiness Directives may be issued without an associated service bulletin/letter; therefore, refer to Airworthiness Directive Listings issued by the FAA to determine allAirworthiness Directives applicable to an aircraft. See Note 1, above. Type Certificates (TC’s) for the following aircraft models are not held by Piper: AE-1, HE-1, J5A, J5A-80, J5B, J5C, L-14, PA-12, PA-12S, PA-14, PA-25, PA-60, and Stinson 108-3. See Supersession List for affected service bulletins / letters.
