Custom and Traditions of Africa
Great part of the cultural African activity centers on the family and the ethnic group. Art, music and oral literature serve to reinforce thereligious and social existing structures. The westernized minority, under the influence of the European culture and the Christianity, rejected at first the traditional African culture, but with the summitof the African nationalism a cultural reappearance has taken place. The governments of the majority of the African nations subsidize national companies of dance and music, museums and, in minor degree,to artists and writers.
This mask bundu is used by the young women of the company Sandé of Sierra Leone, Africa. The company Sandé is responsible for the education of the women mendé. This type ofmask, taken during the ceremony of initiation, is done by very polished wood and represents the most desirable aspects of the feminine beauty.
In Africa principally it gets used to realizing bigtrips, to touching drums and to singing turning on if same and jumping, practically as the politicians. In this continent there are holidays every day, the representative is the Day of the Independence inwhich the future arrival of independence is celebrated, they wait for it, and they wait for the moment.
Also they like (why to deny it) to give free rein to his loving feelings with the same speciesbut of another kind, this way they manage to have these agglomerations of children who cause so many problems, between them, the excessive situation of sudden pregnancies at the age of 7.
