The education system in England
In England, the current education system depends on laws enacted by Parliament. The most important are The 1944 Education Act,The 1988 Education Reform Act and The 1993 Education Act
93% of young people studying in public schools called "state schools" where education is free, thecosts are paid by the central government and municipalities. 7% of youth are enrolled in independent or private schools (called "public schools"). Her parents payfor education.
From 5 to 16 years compulsory education.
Before age 5 and after 16 years, education is not compulsory but remains free until age 18.

Thestages of the education system
