USE OF THE INTERNET IN SCHOOL COMPUTERS:
Introduction:
This report explains why access should not be restricted and also suggests how teachers canhelp. In it, we explain all advantages that suppose the chance of having the Internet connection in our learning. I interviewed some students who usefrequently the room for making the report.
Why Internet connections are necessary:
The results of my interview got such a variety of opinions, but all of themgot something in common: nowadays, the Internet is necessary in our learning.
* Some students chat in English and find this helpful. They could bemaking friends in other countries at the same time they are practicing the international language.
* A group of the students I interviewed have notInternet at home, so, they defended that students should be able to use the computers at lunchtimes and after school. In both free times, they could have theopportunity of use the Internet to send emails to friends or family, because in home they could not.
* Actually, all of the schools have computerclasses. The point is that students need to be able to send emails to family and friends at home and they could use those lessons to practice.Recommendations:
It is true that not all of the students make good use of these connections, but maybe, teachers should check that all of the students at ourlanguage school are using English. The pressure of knowing that the teachers are watching use in every single moment could avoid the wrong use of the Internet.
