“Are Work Suits on the Way Out?”
Wearing casual clothes has become something good for people in the moment to be comfortable. But, at the same time it has become in a problem when people have todecide the appropriate style of clothes that they must wear and which not. Wearing casual clothes can have its advantages and disadvantages for people when don’t know what to wear for certainactivities.
According to the article “Are Work Suits on the Way Out?” by Tom de Castella, wearing casual clothes each day is becoming normal in business situations years ago people were more formal. Thearticle shows the result of a poll that was done on British workers which found that a reduced number of employees wear formal clothes, and more than a third of staff wears casual clothes. In regard tothis, the author shows different points of view of different professionals, of which some agree that wearing casual clothes it is not related to productivity while others say that wearing formalclothes permits people to separate work and home people will be judged by the way they look.
There is an idea in the article that I found significant when Fiona Allison, who is head of design at JermynStreet Design, says that “the good thing about formal dress is that it allows a clear separation between work and home. She says also: “If you look professional you act professional. Definitely Iagree with this point, because I think that although casual dress has nothing to do with intelligence there should always be certain limits to what is appropriate. I understand that to dress casualclothes can be more comfortable and less stressful in the office but I think that people that wear clothes according to their professions are more successful, because the other people will judge them bythe way they look. This means that if I need a doctor for me or my family, I am going to choose a doctor that is wearing clothes according to his/her profession I am never going to choose a doctor...
