Electronic spreadsheet – Excel 2010
Creation of charts

Objective: Use the tools of Excel 2010 to create charts.

If you have any doubt of how to do any of thecharacteristics below, go to the supporting materials. It is recommended to always start with the insertion of all the formulas and functions and finish with the format of the sheet. This activity has fourelectronic spreadsheets, so you have to be careful on following the instructions.

Sheet 1 – First

1. Open the file Act3M6B.pdf, this is the sample of how the document must look like. Observe to beready for the activity.
2. Open Excel 2010 and the file Act3M6B.xlsx
3. Save the file as Act3Mod6-School Id (type your school id number).
4. Type Totals on cell A19.
5. Calculate thetotal for each one of the months.
6. Change the format of the quantities to accounting.
7. Center the title and subtitles. Text is bold and italic. Text size is 12 points.
8. Set the borderand shading according to the sample file.
9. Check the sample file to change alignment, font size and font style of the text.
10. Adjust the width of the column A to 25 points and the rest ofthe columns to 15 points.
11. Adjust the height of the rows 7 to 19 to 20 points.
12. Change the name of the worksheet to First.
13. Save the file.

Sheet 2 – Second

1. Type Totalson cell A19.
2. Calculate the total for each one of the months.
3. Change the format of the quantities to accounting.
4. Center the title and subtitles. Text is bold and italic. Text sizeis 12 points.
5. Set the border and shading according to the sample file.
6. Check the sample file to change alignment, font size and font style of the text.
7. Adjust the width of thecolumn A to 25 points and the rest of the columns to 15 points.
8. Adjust the height of the rows 7 to 19 to 20 points.
9. Change the name of the worksheet to Second.
10. Save the file....
