INTRODUCCIÓN
Una vez adquiridos los conocimientosde la petrología es necesario comprender las deformaciones que pueden sufrir las rocas cuando son sometidas a esfuerzos diferentes (movimientos de placas, magmatismo, volcanismo, cargas por sedimentación, etc.) posteriores a su origen o consolidación; así como la relación que guardan con la formación de los recursos minerales.
