The Standard Model

To start with, it’s important to state what the Standard Model Theory is and where did it came from. As so, let us begin.
The standard model is the theory offundamental particles and how they interact among each other. The Theory was discovered in the 1970s, and it incorporates everything that is known about subatomic particles at the time and included thepredictions o new ones.
In total there are 17 named particles. The last particles discovered were the W and the Z bosons in 1983, the top quark in 1995, the tau neutrino in 2000 and finally the higgs bosonin 2012.
FERMIONS AND BOSONS
Fermions are the building blocks of matter, as bosons are the carriers of forces. There are 5 named bosons and 12 named fermions.
On one hand, Fermions cannot occupythe same space at the same time as another. Both leptons and quarks are fermions, but protons, neutrons, atoms, molecules, and even people are fermions too. This is why people cannot walk throughwalls, because if that was meant to happen, the wall will be able to move out of the way. Enrico Fermi, an Italian, describes the rules that obey fermions.http://pdg.web.cern.ch/pdg/cpep/fermion_boson_chart.html

In contrast, bosons occupy the same space at the same time. Gluons, W and Z,photons, and higgs are examples of bosons and thus fall into this category. Since these are particles that make up life as well as other forms of electromagnetic radiation, photons are the bosons wehave most contact with almost everyday. Photons are clashes of light, which we are not able to see, but happen pretty much all the time. They are like ghosts, we are unable to see them but they happenall the day and can-in contrast with fermions-pass through the other with no problem.
QUARKS AND LEPTONS

As mentioned before, leptons are divided into 2 groups of six: the ones that bind...
