El esfuerzo y trabajo constante durante estainvestigación lo dedico de manera muy especial a mis amados padres, quienes sin haber tenido todas las oportunidades y recursos en su momento para completar sus estudios, supieron reconocer siempre que la educación y consecuente búsqueda del conocimiento es el más grande logro que se pueda conquistar.

ABSTRACT: In order to deal with the petroleum hydrocarbon spills and specifically thoseabout gasoline - diesel in ground bordering to the service stations, an investigation process in a laboratory scale by means of the application of three own treatments of the bioremediation was made. In this way, the biostimulation against the natural attenuation and the bioaugmentation was evaluated. This initiative took place due to the potential that has the biostimulation in front of othertechnologies of chemical or physical character to eliminate and/or to reduce the levels of concentration of spilled hydrocarbons to the ground and the water to a smaller cost. Indeed the difference between the treatments for this case in particular was found, establishing the reduction of the concentration of Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons (HTTP) in 52.79% for the treatment by natural attenuation,60,45% for the treatment by biostimulation and of the 64,92% for the treatment by bioaugmentation. This last one showed a better performance for such purpose, without having a very noticeable difference with the process by biostimulation. The denominated microorganism As2 isolated and identified molecularly like Bacillus sp. demonstrated to have potential to favor the bioremediation acting like anexogenous being. Also this work allowed to isolate and to identify other bacteria reported like degraders of hydrocarbons pertaining to the families of the Pseudomonad, Achromobacter and Alcaligenes. Finally, when realising the test of direct ecotoxicity using the Eisenia andrei organism test was stated the high toxicity that has Volatile Organic Compounds (COV's) on the fauna. In addition, thepositive effect that the bioremediation has on the biota of the ground when reducing the pollution levels was verified. RESUMEN: Para tratar los derrames de hidrocarburos de petróleo y específicamente los de gasolina – diesel en suelo aledaño a las estaciones de servicio serealizó un proceso de investigación a escala de laboratorio mediante la aplicación de tres tratamientos propios de la biorremediación. Con ello, se evaluó la bioestimulación frente a la atenuación natural y la bioaumentación. Esta iniciativa tuvo lugar debido al potencial que tiene la bioestimulación frente a otras tecnologías de carácter químico o físico para eliminar y/o reducir los niveles deconcentración de los hidrocarburos vertidos al suelo y al agua a un menor costo. Efectivamente se encontró la diferencia entre los tratamientos para este caso en particular, estableciendo la reducción de la concentración de los Hidrocarburos Totales de Petróleo (HTP) en 52.79% para el tratamiento por atenuación natural, 60.45% para el tratamiento por bioestimulación y del 64.92% para el tratamiento...
