Welcome!
The aim of this course is for you to improve your English skills andbecome communicative students. At the end of this course you will be able to communicate at intermediate level. This course will be evaluated according to the four English skills or communicativecompetences.
Discipline Policies:
• You have the right for 8 absences during the 4-month term.
• Bring the material needed for class.
• No late homework will be accepted.
• Do not doany work from different classes during English sessions.
• Turn off your laptop during the class.
• Do not damage any school or student property.
• Always show respect.
• 10minutes after the hour you can come in but you will have a lateness
• 11 minutes after the hour you can come in but you will have an absence.
Participation will be evaluated as follows:
•Speaking 100% English and class’ attendance
• Bringing all required material to class (books, dictionary, homework and verbs list).
• Working on class’ tasks
• Keeping a positiveattitude in class.
• Misbehavior and lack of interest in the class are negative forms of participation which will be counted.


EVALUATION CRITERIA
The course evaluation will be divided into:Grammar Evidence (including vocabulary and verbs) 30%
Listening Evidence 10%
Reading Evidence 10%
Writing Evidence 10%
Project 25%
Homework 7.5%Participation in class 7.5%
Total 100%
